Planning Assistance
You know you want to have a retreat, but you aren't sure how to plan? What
sort of scheduled program should you have? How do I get people to sign-up?
Every
customer who books a retreat, camp or conference will receive our
Retreat Planner's Guide and helpful tips for marketing materials.
Since each camp/conference center is unique - we encourage you to come
out for a tour of our facilities at least 6 weeks prior to your event to
help you "get a feel" for how your event will run at Berachah.
To
schedule a tour, first email
or call one of our Conference &
Retreat Hosts in our Guest Relations Office. You can also
request a VHS video or CD-Rom
that highlights our facilities and recreation.

We help
coordinate every aspect of your retreat: housing, meals, meeting rooms,
recreation, and can even help you promote your retreat to your church or
group (through our Marketing & Promotions office).
Below you will find more useful information...
Food Service
Friday nights we run a buffet line to accommodate
late arriving groups. All other meals will be served "family"
style (your meal is brought to tables for you to dish up). Water, coffee
and tea are available at all meals, with milk served at breakfast and
dinner. Each group has their
own reserved tables, and your meal begins with with a prayer led by the
Conference & Retreat Host.
We have established two distinct meal
schedules (A & B) which allow us to place compatible groups together in the dining
hall (youth vs. adult). Please inquire with our Conference and
Retreat Host about which schedule your group will be assigned. It is
important that your group arrive on time for their meals to insure their
food is fresh and hot, and to give your group adequate time to enjoy your
meal before the next meal shift begins.
Menu Selection
Camp Berachah plans weekly menus based on the age and type of group, i.e. youth, adults,
families etc. Any special menu request must be made to your Conference
and Retreat Host prior
to your coming. Since most weekends involve several groups, Camp Berachah is unable to
provide custom meal planning. Special requests for diets must be made in advance and we
will do all we can to assist the guest.
Snacks
Camp Berachah will provide (upon request) snacks from several menu
selections. However, your
group must make the request with your Conference and Retreat Host in advance. Charges vary
by items selected; complimentary coffee and tea is available in most camp facilities 24
hours a day. Regulations prevent guests from bringing and serving their own
snacks without prior permission from our Guest Relations department.
The open hours of our Country Store can be scheduled to meet your group's
needs.
